Voigtlander lens

I am experiencing (and to some degree, reliving) the joys of manual lenses.

A few months ago, I bought, as a birthday gift to myself, a 17.5mm f0.95 Voigtlander lens. I bought it in a recent trip to Singapore at a shop called Chiif Cameras. I have been eyeing this lens for a long time, ever since a good friend of mine, in one of his visits back to Manila, brought a 25mm Voigtlander.

The lens is simply beautiful.  It’s  is perfect with the Olympus OM-D EM-5 and it’s electronic viewfinder (EVF). I configured one of the buttons on the OM-D as a magnify button, enabling me, with the push of a button, to automatically zoom in on the subject. Viewing the subject through the EVF, I can easily magnify to 14x to make sure the subject is in focus.
